LinguaVox has worked with companies, professionals and private clients in the Region of Murcia since 2000. We translate technical, legal, commercial, medical, academic and official documents, as well as websites, audiovisual material and business communications. Projects are managed in more than 150 languages, with the translator selected according to the language pair, subject matter and purpose of the text.
Our Murcia office is at Calle Alcalde Clemente García, Parc. 19/5, Polígono Industrial Oeste, 30169 San Ginés. Most written projects can be arranged online, so there is usually no need to travel to the office. Companies that prefer to meet in person can book an appointment. You can also view LinguaVox Murcia on Google Maps, call 868 20 54 94, contact us by email or request a quote online.
Professional translation for business and personal documents
A machinery manual, a commercial contract, a university transcript and a company website call for different terminology, checks and file preparation. We work with contracts, deeds, powers of attorney, certificates, academic records, reports, technical data sheets, manuals, catalogues, export documents, websites, training material, subtitles and presentations.

The workflow is agreed around the actual file and its intended use. Where appropriate, a project may also include independent revision, terminology management, multilingual desktop publishing, transcription or full post-editing. For recurring work, previous translations and approved terminology can be used as references so that product names, job titles and technical terms remain consistent over time.
Sworn translations for Spanish authorities
A document submitted to a Spanish public authority, court, university, notary or other institution may need a sworn translation. Birth and marriage certificates, criminal record certificates, diplomas, academic transcripts, powers of attorney and deeds are common examples, but the requirement depends on the receiving body rather than the document title alone.
English-speaking countries do not all use the same certification system as Spain. If an English-language document is to be used in Spain, tell us which authority will receive it. Our page on English–Spanish sworn translation in Murcia explains what to send, how the Spanish sworn translator system works and why an apostille and a translation are separate matters.
Technical, industrial and agri-food translation
The Region of Murcia has substantial industrial, agricultural, food-production, logistics and export activity. Typical assignments include operating manuals, specifications, maintenance documents, product sheets, procedures, quality documentation, tenders and material exchanged with international suppliers or customers. The translator is chosen for the subject as well as the languages involved.

Technical projects often benefit from terminology lists, translation memories and editable source files. If your company already has approved English terminology or previous versions of the same material, send them with the new files. This gives the translator reliable reference points and avoids unnecessary variation between successive versions.
British English, international English and other markets
English is a frequent working language for companies and international residents in Murcia, but the target market still matters. Content intended for the United Kingdom should follow British spelling and usage; material for the United States may need different terminology, punctuation or institutional references. We confirm the destination before work starts when the distinction affects the text.
The same principle applies beyond English. LinguaVox coordinates translation in more than 150 languages, including French, German, Arabic, Romanian, Ukrainian, Polish, Russian, Chinese, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch. For multilingual projects, the files, terminology and delivery schedule can be coordinated together rather than handled as unrelated assignments.
Interpreting for meetings, visits and events
Interpreting can be arranged for business meetings, supplier visits, audits, training sessions, negotiations, conferences and trade events, subject to availability. To prepare a quote, we need the date, location or online platform, languages, expected duration and subject matter.
Preparation is especially important for technical meetings. An agenda, presentation, equipment list or terminology sheet gives the interpreter time to become familiar with the names and concepts likely to arise. This is more useful than relying on general preparation when the discussion involves specialist processes or products.
Translation services across the Region of Murcia
Written translations can be managed remotely from anywhere in the Region. We have dedicated English information for translation services in Cartagena, where port, naval, industrial and logistics work creates a particular demand for specialist documents, and for translation services in Mazarrón, where international residents, property matters, tourism and agriculture bring a different mix of requirements.
The office itself is in San Ginés, Murcia. We do not present other municipalities as local offices. Clients elsewhere in the Region can send their documents online, while interpreting and other location-dependent services are arranged for the place where they are actually needed.
Quality, revision and confidentiality
LinguaVox works with audited ISO 9001 processes. Translation services can be organised in line with ISO 17100 when that scope is contracted, and full post-editing can follow ISO 18587 requirements where appropriate. The standards support defined workflows and responsibilities; they do not replace subject knowledge or the need to choose the right translator for the material.
Business, legal, medical and personal files may contain confidential information. Access is limited to the people required to manage the assignment, and the level of review is agreed according to the purpose and risk of the document rather than applied mechanically to every project.
What we need to prepare a quote
Send the complete files whenever possible and tell us the source language, target language, deadline and intended use. If the translation will be submitted to an authority, university, court or notary, include any instructions you have received. For business material, previous translations, approved terminology, editable files and layout requirements are also useful.
Page count alone is rarely enough to price a project accurately. Tables, scans, stamps, handwritten notes, specialist terminology, formatting and certification requirements can all affect the work involved. We confirm the scope, price and delivery schedule before the project starts.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use LinguaVox Murcia if I do not live in Murcia city?
Yes. Most written translation projects can be quoted, confirmed and delivered online from anywhere in the Region of Murcia or further afield. The San Ginés office is available for company meetings by appointment, while interpreting and other location-dependent services are arranged separately for the place where they are needed.
Do you use British English or American English?
It depends on the destination of the text. For material aimed at the United Kingdom, we use British spelling and conventions; for the United States or another market, the language can be adapted accordingly. Tell us where the translation will be published or used so that the appropriate variant is clear from the outset.
When is a sworn translation required in Spain?
The receiving authority or institution decides. A certificate, academic record or legal document may require a sworn translation for one procedure but not for another. If you send the complete document and tell us where it will be submitted, we can check the appropriate translation service and the available language combination.
Can you handle technical and industrial documents as well as ordinary business material?
Yes. Manuals, specifications, procedures, tenders and quality documents are assessed according to their subject matter and terminology, while contracts, websites and presentations may require a different translator or review process. Existing glossaries and approved translations are useful when terminology must remain consistent across several files.
What information do you need before giving a firm quote?
We need the files, language pair, intended use and required deadline. It also helps to know whether the project involves sworn certification, independent revision, layout work, physical delivery or a particular target market. We review the actual material before confirming the price so that the quote reflects the work required.
